Here at Red Brick Bulldogs we believe in conditioning
our Bulldogs, both mentally and physically, and we
believe in health screening to identify and help
eliminate genetic or hereditary diseases. We also
believe in positive reinforcement based training, so
our dogs are happy, joyful, and have great attitudes.
We focus on raising our litters using scientific
knowledge of neo-natal socialization periods for
canines, with emphasis on temperament training. Our
primary breeding goals are health, temperament, and
conformation to the Bulldog Club of America's
Standard. Most of our Bulldogs are currently being fed
a modified raw and whole foods diet for optimum
nutrition.
We work very hard through pedigree research,
veterinary education, and behavioral studies to
educate ourselves and to improve the overall health
and temperament of our Breed. We have been
involved with breeding and showing Bulldogs in both
obedience and conformation for over 15 years now.
Mary Jo's memberships include: the Bulldog Club of
America, the Great Pyrenees Club of America,
Penn-Dutch Great Pyrenees Club, the Valley Forge
Kennel Club (with extensive contribution to the
annual Dog Show), and the Association of Pet Dog
Trainers. Mary Jo serves as the current President of
the Pennsylvania Federation of Dog Clubs and on
the Federation's Legislative Committee. Daemon
serves as the President of the Valley Forge Kennel
Club and Chairman of the annual Dog Show.
In November, 2006 we were honored to receive the
first Bulldog Club of America Presidents Award and
be inducted into the Hall of Fame as "Champions of
Rescue" for our past and current support of Bulldog
Rescue efforts.
